Is the patch board and bridged USB chip a fix for the audio issues this board had?

Nice to see these available again. As for your comment Dryja, I don't think the fix is for audio at all. If I recall correctly it is a design flaw present in the board files they have from Helder, and that is a fix for it.

Ah thanks Rodo, so these boards still have audio issues.

They're legit. He has an agreement with helder but Retro needs to populate the boards by hand.

Yeah they're legit. But according to the link they are already sold out. That was fast.

Sorry for the delay in responding and thanks to everyone who jumped in here! I should have more available coming very soon and will update it here as soon as they are ready.

Just my two cents but the audio is pretty good quality to me! There may be some cleaner options out there but this is still a great option!

The audio fixes we felt were the best for this board is applied so no resistor tweaking needed. It is PWM audio so you can't compare it to usb digital audio and this should be expected when purchasing the board. There is a battery monitor option with the board if you use HoolyHoo's scripts and wiring diagrams on his github.
