Actually, I was thinking that anything below that didn't need more than two buttons at the back?.... What lower level console needed L1, L2, R1, R2?edwardthehuman wrote: ↑Tue Feb 27, 2018 9:46 pmI would suggest sticking just up to the PS1 generation and down with one joystick, 4 back buttons and you will be good to go. No N64, Saturn, Dreamcast.

If you don't wanna play PSX games then stick to just two back buttons and no joystick and you will be good. But playing PSX games because your Rasberry Pi 3 or CM3 can? hard to pass!djascher wrote: ↑Tue Feb 27, 2018 9:51 pmActually, I was thinking that anything below that didn't need more than two buttons at the back?.... PSX... isn't that another name for PS1? I thought it doesn't play well on the Pi anyways...edwardthehuman wrote: ↑Tue Feb 27, 2018 9:57 pmIf you don't wanna play PSX games then stick to just two back buttons and no joystick and you will be good. And ordered! Thanks HoolyHoo!
Orders as beginning to pile up... a good thing that payday is near. This was also the last part that I needed to source. Now I just need some 3D printed parts. And Kite’s CSO!

I would really like to order this, as well as the snes style screen bracket, is there a way I can combine shipping on those? thanks!

If your in the US you can PM me to combine shipping. Otherwise I can't since brackets get shipped from the UK.speakerphone wrote: ↑Wed Feb 28, 2018 3:19 pmI would really like to order this, as well as the snes style screen bracket, is there a way I can combine shipping on those? thanks!

Most PSX (PS1) games play fine. I've played RE2, FF7, FF8, FFT and several other classics with zero performance issues.

Ordered! Looks great!
When used in the vertical configuration, do the button locations still match the cad file for the old one? Having Kubino do all the drilling for me. Very cool about the L bracket!
I also noticed that the R1 and L1 buttons are on the bottom instead of the top. Misprint or were these intentionally swapped? I know that they could be wired either way regardless, only curious. Don’t mind me.
