What about guide for drill holes in right place?
The pcb has holes that are centered where buttons go so built in drill guide. Just mark before soldering the buttons to the pcb.
Ok, thanks.
But between PCB and the plastic where i should make marks there is some thing about 1 cm.
It's easy to make wrong marks. :|

If you use something like a mechanical pencil don't make a single mark, go around in a circle and then try to drill the center of the circle. As a previous poster mentioned it's much more important to align the holes to themselves than the PCB. Due to the width of the base of the button caps, if they are all a little high or low it won't really make a difference because they will still depress the button membrane.

I would suggest using a very small sized bit and drilling pilot holes for all the buttons to see if you're properly aligned. If they aren't lining up, adjust the holes as necessary. Once everything looks good use the 7/32 bit Hooly mentioned and everything should be good. I went a little fast and one of my buttons ended up slightly higher than the rest, but it's hardly noticeable. If you take your time it shouldn't be a problem.

The only question I have is what size screw should I use to mount the spacers/PCB to the case?

I'm not sure if I've wired something wrong but my L1 and R1 won't register. L2 and R2 work fine.

Hi Hoolyhoo,

Just place my order. Do you have any recommendation for the screws? I didn't see anything posted (unless I missed it).

Yeah, I went through the gamepad detection routine and it recognized everything except L1 and R1.

Thanks! Yes, you can use the GB screws that come with aftermarket cases. They work perfect :D
