Re: [FOR SALE] Picicle a portable games console
Assembled mine. Cannot connect it to wifi. It recognizes my network but is unable to connect. I've already tried a wifi key file and wpa supplicant file. Nothing works.
Re: [FOR SALE] Picicle a portable games console
Try this:
Create a file called wpa_supplicant.conf in the boot partition of microSD card with the following content:
ctrl_interface=DIR=/var/run/wpa_supplicant GROUP=netdev
update_config=1
country=US
network={
ssid="Wi-Fi network name"
psk="password of Wi-Fi network"
key_mgmt=WPA-PSK
}
Create a blank file called ssh in the boot partition of microSD card.

Re: [FOR SALE] Picicle a portable games console
Picicle said the battery should be LiPo 3.7V battery (overall size 4.5x50x80mm). But in a blog post, tech reviewer Dave Curran says that the battery should be "...no more than 5mm thick". http://blog.tynemouthsoftware.co.uk/201 ... nsole.html
Which makes finding a good battery a little easier.
The easiest to obtain that I could find was from Adafruit https://www.adafruit.com/product/258 currently listed at $9.95 for a 1200mAh with the dimensions of 34mm x 62mm x 5mm. Roughly a 6-day shipping within the USA.
Another that would (probably) fit is from Alibaba, the LP455280. It's a 2150mAh with the dimensions of 80mm x 52mm x 4.5mm. Only get this one if you're in the mood to buy at least 100 of them. https://www.alibaba.com/product-detail/ ... 43390.html
My personal favorite I could find was a 2500mAh on Aliexpress with the dimensions of 4mm x 50mm x 80mm. https://www.aliexpress.com/item/3-7V-25 ... e263336d02 The only bummer about this one is that it the estimated delivery is 20-38 days.
If someone could check my work, I would appreciate it. I am very - very new at this.

Oh! That's my fault. Correct during the day. I apologize.

I have already tried the supplicant file as I mentioned above. Anything else?
Re: [FOR SALE] Picicle a portable games console
The case of game allows to contain the battery with thickness no more than 5 mm. But Chinese batteries are sometimes thicker. By this, I indicated less thickness for insurance.specificity wrote: ↑Sat May 18, 2019 5:27 amPicicle said the battery should be LiPo 3.7V battery (overall size 4.5x50x80mm).
