I did reflash and it fixed the putty issues. I will check all those points you have show and report back later today.
OK
So at the 3.3v and 3v pin I am only getting around .864v on both.

Pin 1 GPIO of Raspberry 3.3V?

Gpio1 reading ~3.2v.

GPIO 1 wired up to pin 9 of screen. No soldering?

Gpio 1 should have continuity with pin 9 on screen? I will double check continuity, and add more solder to gpio1

Yes.

If you want, I can send a PCB circuit.

Sure.

Just checked and there is no continuity from gpio1 to pin 9. Likely just need to add more solder for a better connection. I did not realize the screen took power from pin1

Well the screen issue is solved, it was in fact that the pi's 3.3v gpio was not soldered well enough, so it wasn't making a good connection. Fixed that, now the screen works.....But now, the pi will freeze after about 5 -10 minutes use (just sitting, not playing any games). I'll re flash again, and see if that helps...

EDIT, well even a new card freezes, and it's more like 2 minutes, before it freezes, I guess i'll open it up one more time and re check all the power connections on the pi....

Perhaps the problem is in the video settings. When i did img, I set the maximum speed for my Pi. But all Raspberry are different. Try in file /etc/modprobe.d/fbtft.conf reduce speed to 60 000 000.

so i think I have found the issue. I have tried 5 different SD's with all the same freezing issue. whole system freezes after about 1 minute or so. I was thinking the pi might be bad, but I just got my mini usb cable in the mail today, and plugged in. while the picicle is plugged in there is no freezing. once I unplug the cable the system freezes right away, just like it always does. So maybe it is a power issue, and not a pi issue?

What should I be looking for in regard to the power components. I have checked the soldering on all components, and everything appears to be fine. Please let me know if you have any ideas.

EDIT::

Nevermind, it seems to freeze even on power. Now all I can think is the pi is bad. I'll have to desolder it I guess.
