(Wanted) Safe shutdown Powerboost version for GB Zero

I am interested in a safe shutdown for the Powerboost I am making for my brother so he doesn't have to worry about messing anything up when shutting down. As he lives in a different state and fixing it for him would be a hassle

I have DIY kits coming soon for the Adafruit PowerBoost, as well as another batch of pre-assembled at some point in the not too distant future.

Well that's awesome. Do you have any idea on about when that'll be good to go? I plan on beginning his build this weekend if I can get mine ironed out. I'm attempting to have it done for him by thanksgiving or at the very least Christmas.
