Custom Screen Surround Game Boy.

Post by Cooper270987 » Sat Feb 17, 2018 1:53 am

I don't know if I should post this in Looking to Buy or For Sale/Trade.
When I first came on here I had just missed a Kite SAIO pre-order, so whilst waiting for the next round I started sourcing parts. At that time I just managed to catch Dominator and he made me a grey Game Boy Zero screen surround.
By the time the Kite pre-order came around Kite had changed it from the SAIO to the Circuit Sword which as we all know now uses a CM3 and having Game Boy Zero on the front simply will not do. :D
So can anyone make me a custom screen surround like the picture included ? I am willing to pay cash or swap my Dominator Game Boy Zero one or a combination of both. I don't trust the template so if anyone has a better template in SVG and can tell me size ect I can draw a better one out.
Thanks Cooper
Edit: I’m in UK (London) so UK would be prefable

good luck trying to find someone to make you a custom screen surround....
(its can be hard time trying to find a ready made one)

your better off trying to make your own (if you can put a Gameboy together, how difficult is a screen surround gonna be)

or just buy one of these (there generic, and it wont matter if you have a Zero, Pi3 or CM3)....

I know it’s a long shot Veteran if I can’t get a custom one I will go generic. Just thought it was worth a try.

I’m barely building a Game Boy :D with Kites sword, Erik_gees bracket and Kubino case I’m not really doing a lot.
I have nowhere near your skill. Yours are still my favourite builds, and you pretty much build from scratch.

how difficult is it to apply stickers to a piece of plastic/plexi or glass

compared to soldering electronics.....

at least if you try and have a go at applying some stickers, what the worst that can happen......
