Worst case scenario for your volume knob, ebay has a bunch of wheel potentiometers from china for very cheap.

on their own they're too thin but if you break the plastic wheel off one of the potentiometers and glue it onto the top of a second one it's almost identical in thickness to the DMG pot. This may be what I did to replace the DMG one I accidentally lost on my way home last week *looks around guiltily*

That sounds like it might work, use some super glue or some of that plastic bonding gel stuff. :)

FYI: I'm going to order a model B103 16x2mm 10K Ohm Double Dial Taper Volume Wheel Potentiometer.
The volume wheel might be a little bit thinner but has the same resistance and 5 connections as the original so should work with the All in one board of helder.

5 pieces cost around $3.30 on aliexpress, ebay... .
