Hi,
i am looking for the 3.5 Inch HDMI Screen from Kedei V1.
I have V1.1 at Home, but the screen is 85mm long and not 83mm like V1.0. So i would like to buy V1, did anyone have one of them at home or know, where i can buy this screen?
Thx!

You can cut some mm of the pcb on the side next to the audio connector. This area is normally empty material.

Maybe there are some white plastics brackets around the screen frame that can be cut off. I do not remember the version nr. in mine but manufacture date was something like sept. 2017.

All the "new" screen are the same size, it listed @ aliexpress at 8.6 cm. It is difficult to get a hlod of the "old" screen.
The PCB is the same (from what I can see.
You have to grind out the sides of the case and also cut the plastic near the ribbon cable for the screen to fit in to the case which is rather tight. The screen would fit if you keep the stand off whre the original screen fit. Any extra effort to press it down without the stand offs wil crack the screen.

It is, though that's very likely not the version you'll be getting as I ordered from a seller showing the same information and I got a 2017/9/9 1.1 screen.
The screens are slightly different per version. This 2017/9/9 version has a bit more of the white plastic frame next to the corners which can easily be cut off with a wire cutter. I'll try and see if I can fit this after cutting some from PCB as this is wider than the screen now.

here is a tutorial for the V 1.1 hdmi screen
that a tutorial for the older 1.1 versions (completely useless if you happen to get the newer version of the 1.1)
the version
1.0
1.1
are OK before a certain date.....
after that the version 1.1 has now also become a bit of crap shoot.....
the only way for the moment i see, is that you contact the sellers and get confirmation of what version they actually have....
ideally i'd like a photo confirmation, that way i personally can be certain....
its kinda put me off a bit in actually considering this screen (even though i've invested in some adapters which i still desperately want to use)
but i'm looking (and i'd suggest the same to other)
i've messaged a number of seller.... who ever comes back with a positive response gets my money (even if its priced higher than other)
NB: the screen i used in my recent build was a 1.1
