Hi,

I'm a new Pi hobbyist who decided to try making a minty pi. Unfortunately, it looks like the minty pi build list on the wiki neglected to mention that you need custom boards from helder ( https://www.sudomod.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=50&t=3157 http://market.sudomod.com/mintypi-scree ... n-pcb-set/), which haven't been made for some time and are quite scarce. I'm sitting on every other part, and kind of at a loss.

Does any member have this lying around, or know where to send me to build my own work around? Thanks! I'm in the continental US if that helps.

Helder recently did a poll to see if anyone was still interested in the board, so he might release another batch soon. I would vote in the poll so that he will have enough boards in stock. Here's a link to the poll.

If not available for some time means 1 month then sure. Keep in mind that they were available for nearly 2 months before then. I'd say that last year minty kits were available for 4 months out of the year last year.

There may be a small batch in the future before the next iteration.

I see. Thanks for the advice. I voted, and I'll just be patient!

I know how long it seems when you find something on reddit or youtube and go looking for it only to find out it was sold out last week then it seems like people have waited a year for stock when it wasn't even out that long. It always amuses me how people exaggerate time frames to make them look like they are so desperate for one that I need to produce it out of thin air.

Don't take offense to this but you aren't the first one to make such posts or claims and thought I'd chime in on this trend people tend to do.
