So I've been working on updating some of the housing components for this project in order to build a GBZ I can use as a portfolio piece.
A concern I've been trying to address in my project has been true portability through durability. Those screens are a bit of a b*tch to come by and I don't want to baby handle my hard work. I wanna be on the E train, pull this thing out from my back pocket and know that I didn't blast the screen during my commute. Anyhow, who would be interested in hopping on if I set up a pre-pay for an order of surrounds made of Gorilla Glass 3 at .55mm thick. That's bit thinner than the original plex. Scratch and crack resistant. I think they'd come out to around $15 a pop. Here's the best pics I could get of the untempered sample I was sent.
