I am interested! Will there be pre-orders or a mailing list?

I was referring to the one outer and 2 inner plates. I’m guessing one of the two files has two plates. I just can’t open them
The front and back parts of the case sandwich the PCB in the middle. It goes 3mm, 5mm, PCB, 5mm, 3mm. As I already demonstrated in this image:

As shown in my original post and the build guide, the back layers need to be stuck together as one piece like this:

I don't know if i can make it any clearer than this:

Every single piece you need to make the case is shown in the guide and present in the case's design files, there are even spare buttons included in case you lose/break/ruin them.
The 3mm file has the front and back outer plates. The 5mm file has the front inner plate and rear inner parts.

I'm currently waiting for all the parts to arrive, they should all be with me and ready by June 26th (I'm expecting things to arrive much sooner than that though so it really shouldn't take that long). Sorry about this slight delay, I wasn't really prepared for so many people wanting to make one and it's great that you're all interested!

When I'm in a position to start shipping kits, I'll be sending a message through sudomod to everyone that has expressed their interest on this topic and updating my first post with a link. I'm making an initial 20 kits, I don't want any of you to miss out.

I have a product page ready to go on Tindie, but they have a policy that says I have to ship items within 2 weeks of them being paid for and don't offer a pre-order option. This means I can't sell them until the kits are ready to go.

In the meantime, you can look into getting the parts for the case...

Thanks for this info. Now I can stop refreshing this post and a tindie search page every time I have a spare second.😀

Thanks for the clarification. Sorry for the confusion.

How about we don't introduce more "Standard" conversions to a metric build. I would prefer if we stuck with metric all around; the only reason we are even having this discussion is we were trying to find the Ponoko equivalently sized acrylic sheets.
You may already know this, but I found that on their website under preferences under account setting. It looks like we have the option to change it from inches to mm so we can keep it exactly the way it was intended.
