I have the same board. Yellow and white is your two inputs. Also I managed to get it running on 5v soldering Vin on this pin

How in the world did you figure this out? there is no way you traced the circuit...

if possible, this should be added to the wiki...

White cable is AV2. You are wiring it to GROUND. Search for @Fleder guide. You just need to solder either yellow oe white, not both.

But it seems that it's too wide to fit in a DMG-01 shell.

@Bendra, got that one too, waiting for it now, can you confirm that it is really working out of the box, no mods to do ? instead of wiring to a 12v jack, wire to a usb or 5v and that's all ?
also, did you figure out more about the resolution ?

Have ordered 4 of the until today and all where the same model (see my pictures in this thread). All worked on 5v out of the box without modification. It is still no guarantee though, since models can change from batch to batch. Did not check resolution further, but with the given price it seems to be 320x240 only. If I compare both the Adafruit and this one together resolution looks also the same.

Hey guys

I think it's time to contribute - got a "new" TFT and haven't seen it here.
I got mine from amazon.de (https://www.amazon.de/dp/B019I0C5FK/) and since the case was looking small, I'd thought I should give it a try.

a project member told me that the voltage regulator is on the upper left corner (JW5022 - a chinese clone of MP1482)...
so, where to start? pin3 should do 5V?
since I've never had to mod a driver-board, I am thankful for any hints and tipps

This is the "BW 3.5 Inch TFT LCD Monitor for Car / Automobile" from Amazon sold by: ATian Direct

The board is bigger than the screen and looks like there's no way I can trim the board without losing some components.

I just got a pair of XIANJIE 3.5 Composite Displays. The seem to work great. The price was $28 each plus shipping. The website used to order is a bit odd, but that's the only down side so far.
