Alternative case closure methods
Alternative case closure methods
I am considering clearing out the entire bottom of the back side of the shell to fit a larger battery. That means I would lose the two eyelets that connect to the screw posts at the top of the case by the speaker. Does anyone have any other creative ideas for closing the case? I have been playing with some magnets but was wondering what else people have done.

Hello jeffy
what sort of "monster" do you wanna use and why ?
it's also possible to use the original battery-compartment, especially if you use the GBA01 case

Re: Alternative case closure methods
I'm also thinking about a different way to close the case (I'm doing a pocket). I'm currently messing around with some Sugru to see what kind of hold I get with it. I'm basically trying to use the Sugru as a screw post. I'll let you know how it turns out.
Hopefully, someone else has some suggestions too!

For sure I can fit a 3000mah battery and possibly even up to a 5000mah battery with additional case modifications. I've made a few mock batteries out of cardboard as a test. To be honest, I don't need such a big battery as I probably would only be playing in 30 minute stretches most of time...***pandinus*** wrote:Hello jeffy
