Game Boy Zero with raspberry pi 3 inside. Is it possible?

Good Morning and sorry my english
I was wanting to build a gameboy zero, however the raspberry pi zero can not properly emulate playstation 1 games and nintendo 64 games :(
I am wanting to use the raspberry pi 3 in the game boy case, if I desoldering some connectors know if they will have the space to accommodate all in the gameboy case?, Similar to game boy zero?
