So after watching wermy's videos I decided to jump in and build a gameboy zero. I got a dmg-1 from ebay with a broken screen. Purchased (hopefully) all the materials. I went with Kitsch-Bent rev. 1 pcb.
I am hoping I can reuse the original headphone jack, speaker, and volume wheel (i know a 30 year old pot is not great but oh well)
Will I run into any problems with audio output compatibility issues? I understand I need to tweak the config.txt file. Do I do this before or after I flash it to my sd card. I've never done anything with raspberry pi, or any real computer programming for that matter.

I'm going to find out....Chedda wrote: How's your desoldering skills?
My neighbor is a great soldererer. He's build and modded a bunch of microphones (can you say tiny components) so I can always have him teach me. The smallest thing I've ever soldered is 18AWG wires on my scooter.

The Kitsch Bent Rev2 board tested my soldering ability. I almost gave up, until I gave it one more try, and took my time with it.
