Depending on how I mount things internally, I might not end up with my hdmi port in the contrast wheel slot (is that what most people are doing?)
Instead, I considered mounting a switch for my wifi soldered to my hub, but if I end up with my wifi & screen before extra switches in the mail, I will just ditch the idea due to my impatience and need another solution <- Give me a suggestion.
Also, does anybody have a guide to modify the ext port cover to fit a usb port?
Thanks!

Re: contrast wheel?
I am not sure what you are looking to do, but I might be able to offer a suggestion...
I have ordered these....

I aim to create a digital volume control rather than relying on an analog pot. You could use the same to control a switch perhaps?

Re: contrast wheel?
Well if I don't get my switches in time and I cant mount my hdmi port there I don't want a hole, so I was wondering if anybody found something to cover or fill it with.
My volume pot is already done on the other side, no need for anything digital, I'm cool with my current one.

Hi,
basically I would use tamiya putty and a piece of plastic.
Here is the procedure (lesson learnt from model making):
*cut a piece of plastic from a used credit card or store card or any piece of plastic that is just thick enough but not that much so you can trim it easily.
*pre-paint it in white or stick a white sticker on it.
*apply it on the hole you want to mask and glue it from inside.
*apply tamiya putty all around the edge to smooth the groove between original case and the piece of plastic
*let it dry overnight
*sand
*paint
*drink a beer and enjoy

Re: contrast wheel?
I just cut out the hole just a little more and put in another USB port. I won't be using HDMI, but could use 2 external USB ports. It fits very nicely in that spot. And with Helders AIO, there's plenty of USB space on the hub.

Every time I think of adding a second port, it reminds me of my original idea which is to wire a switch for internally mounted usb wifi. Thanks for the idea though.WoodMill wrote:I just cut out the hole just a little more and put in another USB port. I won't be using HDMI, but could use 2 external USB ports.
