Re: Screen flickering even with 5v conversion
Hi,
I think this is the cause of the flickering screen, i also noticed that you soldered the 5v wire to the third pin on the step down converter chip, and i think that should be one pin less to the left, or otherwise one pin closer to the Dot on the chip. (according to 1509 step down converters, but yours should be the same, numbers could be different) Couldn't read your numbers so i'm just guessing. first of all you should try to get it to work. If it still doesnt work, you should check the flatcable connector pins as they seem to be pressed/bent (but could work fine, if so leave it like it is)
Good luck
Edit: for those having issues concirning the PowerBoost, do not connect the screen directly to the output from the powerboost, it's better to hook it up after the battery since this is more stable than that wavy charging boost thing

- based on http://www.bookly.com/images/BM1410A.pdf ... yup, pin3 is the correct oneother screens (like the rear camera ones) use another chip where the pin layout is different
- pin2 ist the vcc input and also shows correctly 5v
