3DS Slide Pad

Hey everyone,

So I would like to fit in the 3DS slide pad into the lower left corner of the DMG case for my RPZ but i realized that the walls of the DMG are slightly too thick. Does anyone have a simple method for slimming the wall so that the joystick has room to slide around?
