Cartridge Reader Issues

Post by Metallicis » Mon Jan 02, 2017 10:42 am

My gbz works fine, and now I'm trying to work on the cartridge reader finally. I'm having issues because my raspberry pi zero is slightly different than the one wermy used in his tutorial, I'm missing a solder point. I attempted to wire it up the best I could and hoped for the best but to no avail. I'm using the kitsch bent kk_gb_zero_c cart insert. I'll add some pictures as well.

what ive figured with the cart readers is this:

1. wires need to be as short as possible 3inch
2. soldering need as little exposed wire as possible, shorted the exposed wire and the bit your soldering to
3. keep the power and gnd cables away for the data cables

then hope for the best :)

cant comment on your wire as your using a different board
