Finding a microSD card breakout

Post by Felix » Sun May 22, 2016 6:13 am

Hello everyone, I want to find a microSD card breakout board like this one Image, the 2 reasons for this is I don't like to solder on the pads of the RP0 and the other reason is that if the RP0 breaks or there's a newer and better version of the RP0 that I don't need to desolder and resolder it again to a newer board. So does anyone know where I can get this and shipped to EU?

Just some food for thought. You are putting in a moving part that can potentially wiggle out of socket inside where it is not practical to access. The soldering prevents the possibility of the SD disconnecting, and you'll have to think of a method to prevent it. Handhelds get a lot of bumps and shock.

Good luck!
