Kitsch Bent PMW Audio help

Post by ASMills85 » Fri Jun 02, 2017 5:09 pm

I've searched and read as many things as I can. I can't find a project that uses the KB mono amp, and I am unclear how to wire it. I believe the filter is wired properly, correct me if I'm wrong. I am only doing mono sound. I will have a headphone jack and a volume wheel eventually, but I'll figure that out after I get the concept down. Once I can get sound I'm not worried about working backwards. I feel like the A- is the problem. Should that be a ground? Should I attach GND from the filter to A- and attach the GND on the amp to the ground on the power supply? Thank you for your help.

This is how I wired mine. I used an adafruit amp though and made my own filter (just used the KB filter for the sake of the picture.). Should be the same. I grounded A-. Make sure you pi's gpio wires goes to PWM points on the filter.

Yeah I got it... Pin 18 isn't the 18th pin it is the 12th. I was going about this wrong... We are all good. Thank you.

Actually, look up a pinout of the Raspberry Pi Zero. All of the pins have strange labels, so that pin really is the 18th pin. Just wanted to clarify.
