I found another one that's cheaper! USB 2.0
I will test it at the weekend.

This looks good. I would be interested in the link, if it works.
hopefully I will get around to testing the hub on a zero tomorrow. It just says usb 2.0 device on windows and it has proper components, so that's better than some I have looked at.

the one I had worked for 2 months, it is a good job it didn't get built into a gbz project and it did waste about 1 hour of my time seeing what was wrong.

im still using asda's £5 one and still going, just make sure it does not user external power source,

So this hub works with the zero. So far I have only tested it with a mouse and keyboard, anyone got any suggestions for testing it further?

I bought the same in black color in a junk shop here, and it looks like working. I haven't done much except removing the cables and the USB connectors...
