Oh come on. Are they serious? If I get the same old version I will be a bit pissed.
That would mean they had a lot of old RPi0 laying around but told us they are out of stock.
I can't believe Raspberry did produce old versions again before doing a new one.

i have recieved mine today too, and it's an old version, i think pihut have some board on stock but choose to selle them in little quantities at once;

it's a simple method to be sure that people who want a raspberry process to the order on their website. it's a commercial argument that can be discutable.

same on the v1.2... damn.
Although Raspberry corp haven't released details on what they did change, i think they mentioned it wasn't any major hardware changes like built in audio. i guess we'll be watching for the next batches.

I ordered 2 from the pi hut... had to pay for postage twice... and they came in the same damn bag. wtf. that's just greedy

Audio is built-in, there is just no audio out, which is a very easy and cheap change, so most of the people think it will be audio out.

You guys want me to build a little pcb that has the audio buffer using this schematic?

parts aren't too expensive.

It's a double buffer IC, tiny little bugger.

That highly depends on the price, but it seems to be a great idea, especially for people who do not want to solder much.
