Hello everyone,
So I have never built a Gbz or anything however I have a broken Gameboy color a Raspberry pi zero w and a soldering iron. Looking through some of the tutorials here I believe I could achieve this, however, connecting the hardware up seems simple but I know it doesn't just magically work. What else do I need to do to make it work together?
Regards

Re: HELP Gbz
You could repurpose the GBC board similar to how wermy did originally, you would still need a screen, power supply, sound and method of button control, either teensy or using gpio pins.
You've got a start, I'd go watch the 6 part original Gameboy Zero guide on youtube, that is basically what you're looking at. There are a few things you can do to make the build a little easier vs making everything yourself but it is where you will want to start.
