Well I have a bit of a nightmare!! :D :D
These are all rejects:

So I mistakenly printed out at the wrong resolution and that made the text look dull. Anyone want a cheap surround? :D :D

and the eagle-eyed out there will have noticed the new design:

I have no idea why it looks bent!

Also these stickers are only 2.5mm wide.

Are these supposed to sit flush with the top of the gameboy case (like the original gameboy screen covre) or does it sit a little bit above? I left a small lip on the gameboy case and went to put in the screen surround and it sits up so I have an edge. Do I need to sand the edges of the screen surround?

Mine sits very slightly above and doesn't sit flush. That's probably because I'm using double sided thin tape. I had to shave mine just a little with a blade to make it sit on that lip without bowing in the middle.
I think they need to make these a little thinner to compensate for the decal.

are you saying that the lens was too big for your case? It is a new case or old one?? I have had some repo ones that were a bit tight.
The acrylic I use is the same thickness as the glass ones.

You need to leave a small lip, a tiny bit less than 2.5mm

It's an original dmg case and the screen surround is just a little bit big. It sits slightly above the case where as the original sits flush with the case.

My case is an original as well. The decal was a hair outside of the lens but that was easily fixed with a blade. My lens fits right in after shaving it, however, due to the decal and the thin double sided tape I used, it sits slightly higher then the case.
What is everyone using to keep the lens on??

I appreciate all feedback on these screen surrounds, and if something is wrong I will do my best to fix it.

I have tested the screen size on about 10 gameboy cases so far, and a couple were tight, only as much to fit without glue. There wasn't any bending or bowing. Having said that, I have a suspicion that there may be a slight variation in the laser cut screens, like less than 0.1mm overall.
Yes they are thicker, but are the same thickness as the glass screens.
About the glass screens, well the first ones I bought had like a bubble spot in the corner that interfered with the decal. So I have bought more glass screens and now found that it is difficult to apply the decal  . I am going to try a different method, it is not an easy thing to make!

Cheers,
Dom.
