That looks like the one. Search around for JST PH, you might find them somewhere else.

Wait, I have to open my GBZ after every usage and disconnect the battery from the powerboost? :o

Or just use a SPST Switch to disconnect it.

The simplest way and cheapest is to buy the full chinese lot and just take a female connector from it.

Woot. my first sticky! Thank Wermy. I just felt like it needed to be posted because of the concerns in your video and other folks I see building custom batteries. Plus, I do not want anyone burning down their house doing these projects. Better said than not said.

So am I pretty safe bringing my GBZ on a plane with me if I'm using an Adafruit battery and Powerboost 1000c?

What's the safest way to merge 3-4 power wires together so they can all connect to the Powerboost / Pololu switch?

Hey a3k4,

There is no way of knowing if TSA will tell you not to take the battery. Remember, when that GBZ goes through the TSA scanner, they will see this little rectangle object inside your game. It could raise some flags and I believe some airlines do not even allow them.

I cannot tell you what to do, but what I am doing is not taking the battery. I am taking my portable power brick that will connect to my GBPi and play off that external battery.

Hope this helps.

So does that mean the Powerboost can power the device via USB without having a battery attached?
