I have tested the screen size on about 10 gameboy cases so far, and a couple were tight, only as much to fit without glue. There wasn't any bending or bowing. Having said that, I have a suspicion that there may be a slight variation in the laser cut screens, like less than 0.1mm overall.
Yes they are thicker, but are the same thickness as the glass screens.
About the glass screens, well the first ones I bought had like a bubble spot in the corner that interfered with the decal. So I have bought more glass screens and now found that it is difficult to apply the decal  . I am going to try a different method, it is not an easy thing to make!

Cheers,
Dom.
I didn't mean to sound like I was criticizing you. I was just making sure I was installing them correctly and making sure how it was supposed to look. Like I said in my email, they are great quality and they really add to the look of the game boy zero.

These are all rejects:

So I mistakenly printed out at the wrong resolution and that made the text look dull. Anyone want a cheap surround? :D :D

and the eagle-eyed out there will have noticed the new design:

I have no idea why it looks bent!

Also these stickers are only 2.5mm wide.
How much for rejects dom?

Hey it's alright :D :D I am very critical of my work as I want to get it right. It's always hard reading someone's post as things can be read in different ways.

£4 for a mis-aligned one and £4.50 for a 'faded' one, they will get re-made if I no-one wants them. I have over 20, did I mention they are a nightmare to make :D :D

BTW, my favorite ones so far is the orange pitendo, closely followed by the metallic silver one (it's just more 'high class' :D :D )
Cheers,
Dom.

I hope I didn't come off like I was complaining. This screen protector with the decals you made sets off the gameboy in such a way! It's great!

They look fantastic Dom. Mine had a teeny scratch on it when it arrived but polished out easily and looks great.

My builds almost finished. Im just waiting for my case, screen, battery, pi zero, pb1000c and sd cartridge board to arrive. Once those bits arrive and i get a few days off to put it together...... ill be done! :/

I'm definitely interested in buying a "Dot Matrix" version, will you add these to your webpage for purchase? Thanks!

Great!! Though I think I am going to get my laser cutting at another place. I asked them to mark a smaller sized screen with a marker pen, but they decided to engrave a big X in it...

I don't think that will polish out :D

I'd like to buy the DOT MATRIX WITH STEREO SOUND screen cover when you make them available for purchase.
My wiring diagrams and schematics for Helder's boards and graceful shutdowns.
