Help finding working Usb Hub ( Tried 4 from Aliexpress )

I have seen them but all the others I've tried from there never worked!
I will be going tomorrow now to get one!!

not had any luck with that por from poundland, plugged a controller in to one port, it worked, tried adding another nothing?
turned off and on again with 2 controllers and keyboard in gets to screen saying no controller detected.
turned off again with controller in another port and says as above?
i am wondering as its a cheap product from poundland if they get different versions in, looks the same but a change of internals.
took a pic anyway.. the search goes on

Do you have any pics of your wiring on these?

From experience some models vary and sometimes even reverse the expected wiring order.

i am trying to add a pic of the internal of the hub, but for some reason i keep getting an error message and it wont upload?

i have not tried to wire direct to pi yet i am just plugging the hub in through an adapter.

mine have never missed a beat, and i have it wired up to the nines....




the board does look a little different than mine ( mines a little more basic ).....





Are you adding devices once you've turned it on...
I add everything and then turn on, never had any issues...


i could go back to my local and see if they have the same

thanks for taking the time, i tried adding before boot up and after boot up and have the same issues.
they had about 3 pegs full in my local so the chances of getting a different one is a gamble, i have a few more im watching on ebay so will give a few more of them a go )

popped into my local store and they only had one left.....





opened it up and its the same as the ones i already had, just a different coloured led....





i originally got mine around Jan/Feb.... but this one could be still be old stock for them, or not going by the different coloured led....

but if your local has 3 pegs full of them...
it might be an idea to just have a look at what batch they are, you might get lucky......
