Hey Guys,

I am getting nothing come up on my screen. Does the below look correct?

I have connected the white cable to the tv port not the pi.. but the screen does nothing..

Strange that's how mine is hooked up except I used the yellow wire, I will open my GBZ up to double check.

Thanks for checking. Is your ribbon cable a little funny like mine? Im just wondering if the screen is doa.. i guess they wont take it back after cutting wires and soldering the board..

Part of your ribbon cable doesn't look like it's pushed in all the way (top part of your image) just got back in so will get some pictures later.

Here's a close up, hopefully you can see where I soldered the wire. I took the 5V direct to the power strip instead of through the JST plug:

Thanks for the pics Mischief. I've tried soldering directly from that 5v to the power strip. Still no luck. I think the screen is rooted.

I'll order a different one today I think.

With the ribbon cable it seems pushed all the way in. For some reason there is more of that black stuff on one side of the cable than the other when it is unplugged..
