wiring lcd screen

Post by yankyfan09 » Tue Jul 19, 2016 10:15 am

I am using a backup tft screen for my project and I just had a couple questions that I'm trying to clear up before continuing. I have it running on 5vlt just fine and I get a picture when connected to a video source using the yellow composite cable. I'm ready to solder the wires to the raspberry pi zero but after looking at wermys guide I'm a little confused. He wired the yellow and white wires to the raspberry pi board but I was under the impression that both the yellow and white wires were for video. Or is the pin on the raspberry pi zero where he soldered the white wire to supposed to be ground? I've attached a photo of what I'm talking about from wermys guide.
