Volume wheel PCB pinout?

Post by HuffingtonClover » Thu Mar 04, 2021 12:17 am

Hi,

I am looking in to the part number of the volume wheel for the GBZ, does anyone have it? And, even better, anyone that knows how to do the layout for the through-holes in the PCB?

Thanks!

A volume wheel is a potentiometer used for controlling the audio volume of a device that contains a headphone jack. They are typically used for older portable media players and gaming consoles.

The pinout diagram on the right shows the standard 3.5 mm stereo audio plug and the 6-contact (three-pole) 2.5 mm stereo audio plug with an additional contact (pink) being used as a microphone input. The microphone input is optional and not present on all devices that have this jack. vocal.media/beat/lag-ja-gale-lyrics-lata-mangeshkar-woh-kaun-thi vocal.media/beat/breathless-song-lyrics-shankar-mahadevan
