Saw pimonori have something called Zero LiPo with enable pin and lower battery detection so you can shutdown the pi gracefully. A bit cheaper than the Powerboost 1000c in the UK at least. Ordered one up as they were cheapish, still think £2.50 postage is a swizz mind.

Re: Anyone tried Zero LiPo ?
I got a few of those, I'll try them to my new GBZ builds (2nd and 3rd). It should work same as powerboost, minus the charging ability. I was thinking to add an separate charger in the cartridge area...chickey wrote:Saw pimonori have something called Zero LiPo with enable pin and lower battery detection so you can shutdown the pi gracefully. Re: Anyone tried Zero LiPo ?
Please note: This is not a charger, you will need a separate charger to keep your LiPo/LiIon batteries topped up! We recommend using the Adafruit Micro Lipo or PowerBoost 1000 Charger.tronicgr wrote:I got a few of those, I'll try them to my new GBZ builds (2nd and 3rd). This is posted on there shop page, sorry but your still going to need a power boost to charger the batterys, unless you plan to have change table batterys.
Re: Anyone tried Zero LiPo ?
Thanks i totally missed the non charging!! I've a load of TP4056 boards so could use one of those hooked up directly to charge the battery maybe, bummer to need a second board though.
