Banggood power supply switch set up

Post by Lpoolm » Wed Sep 07, 2016 12:19 am

I know this is a simple question with a simple answer but I really am having a mental block at the moment :?
Can anyone that has used the banggood power supply give me a diagram or just instructions on where I wire the on/off switch within the circuit?
I have read a thread that explains the connections of the banggood so I know the inputs /outputs etc but where does the switch go to enable charging weather it's on /off and also obviously to turn it on /off.
Again I feel there is going to be a simple answer but maybe I need some sleep?? :D

I did it this way put the switch on battery +
Because there is no enable it makes sure the battery is turned off. You will need to shut down the pi through the menu first.

thanks for your pic, that looks like what i am doing?
i have a few pics because its spread out its hard to picture clear so did several pics.
also i think using the same colour wire doesnt help problem solving :D
one last thing i do have the yellow wire connected to the pi i just un-soldered it as it was easier to picture.
i know the pi/screen work when i plug it in direct it boots up so my problem is between the powerboost to pi :c

Do give up ur nearly there lol.
Wright as far as I can see it looks right but don't help when it's the same colour lol.
I did have this problem with mine it was down to a wrong wire.
Just try putting ur sd card into the pi it self because these extensions don't always work and check what voltage ur getting on the different points.
If you can't spot it Im afraid the easyist way is to kind of start again which is what I did with the wires is just do pi and screen on its own with power boot then keep adding on unit at a time I will keep looking at the pictures just in case I spot some thing.
