So, I got pretty much all my emulators tested that I want:
GBA
NES
Final Burn Alpha
Gameboy (duh)
SEGA

and then came SNES... To my surprise, when I started a game like SMAS, I can use the arrow buttons just find when selecting a game, but once a game loads.. the arrow keys stop working all together. I think all the keys stop working actually. Anyone else have this problem? I am not using a custom PCB, I am using the regular board and in all my other emulators, it works just fine. I even tested pocketsnes and all the other options for the emulator and none seem to make a difference.

That's really weird! Everything works fine, even other emulators? And it's just a fresh install of RetroPie?

Yup. I thought it was really strange as well.

Actually +1 here. I started SMAS+SMW and I could select a game just fine, and you can pick 1 or 2 player game, but once Mario was on the screen and you're ready to play, the controls completely stop working. You can still start+select to exit the emulator though. It's really REALLY strange and I have no idea what would cause it.

Yup, this is the problem I ran into! I have not troubleshooted yet because I did not want to connect everything back up to do a complete reinstall of retropie. I am curious if you are able to fix the problem.
