Easy PWM Audio board

Does any of you know what this board do ?
Is it a low pass filter to pwm audio on the PiZero or is it something else ?
I hope somebody can tell
Im about to build a Gameboy Pizero, and im not sure if I should do USB audio or go the Gpio pwm way.
