How to make screen more readable?

Post by Frodowills » Sat Nov 12, 2016 4:08 pm

So I just built my GBZ and am working through some issues. Is there any way to make the screen readable? When in commandline I can make out like every other word. I'm using the BW screen.

Could you post some photos of what exactly you want to make more readable?
Ladies and gentlemen, I would like to inform you that I am currently moving very far away, and therefore I am very busy.

UPDATE: I am still alive! My ISP is setting up my internet on the 19th of January at my new place, explaining my offline-ness.

If you write me a PM, I will very likely take some time to respond.

Also, my 2nd build will soon go on, so if you've been following it, please stay tuned! :)

Many thanks for your understanding!

The screen resolution needs to be set in the config file... just open the file and look for the resolution settings, remove the hashtag and change the resolution to your screens resolution. It's likely 320 x 240. Should work for you... Here's how it looks with the proper resolution settings...

This is what I was looking for! Thank you! Now to just find a RetroPie theme that looks good with a nice big font.

This will only change the font size when in the terminal... You can apparently change the RetroPie fonts size as well but I haven't gotten to that point yet. Need a Keyboard that will work with the Pi Zero to change those settings I believe...
