is that a hardware clone? or just some cheap lcd handheld toy?

I don't know anything about It. Just stumbled upon It on eBay last night. It looks like it was made in the 80's to me but what do I know. :lol:

There were a number of these clones made in the early 90s by fly-by-night factories in China... another recent example I saw was called the Game Genius. :) Nintendo got them shut down quickly, so few made it here.
