Powerboost

Looking at the powerboost i have come across a powerboost 1000 basic and powerboost 1000 c. im presuming i will need 1000 c but im not sure on the difference?

The "C" has the Charging circuit that you'll need if you want to charge your battery. The regular one is just a step-up booster.

The only place I have found availability is through ebay. adafruit seems to be sold out for a few weeks.

I'm wondering if the eBay sellers are just dropshippers, which means that you'll receive the board when Adafruit is back in stock. Probably me being crazy again, but hmmm... :)

i got one from ebay when ada was out of stock...person in texas I believe.

I also had trouble finding the adafruit board so I found a (cheaper) alternative. I added it to the wiki:

Seems like an awesomely cheap alternative. What is it's mA+ rating, and how did you wire it?
