Super Game Boy Cartridge Reader

Post by D4ddy-LiLd4rk » Thu Jan 05, 2017 2:54 am

Hey guys,

I came up with the idea of creating a custom cartridge reader station, which can be placed on my desk and be connected via usb to any PC. I just bought a Super Game Boy, because it will be the main part of my Cartridge Reader. Now I was wondering if I just can solder some wires to the desiered pins on the bottom of the PCB to get it work. But I'm not quite sure since there are lots of chips and stuff, which I could solder out...

So what do you guys think in general of this idea and what do you think how easy it will be to finish it? :?:

I'm in the process of making a custom cartridge reader using the pi.
It's very doable, I have the code and breadboarded version, I'm just designing the PCB now. Watch this space...
