Screen conversion, specific questions, Now with IC info.

Hello.
I just read alle the monitor contribute tread. All 50 pages.
And found my new monitor display driver board pictured twice. but no solution for 5v conversion.
I think the IC at the top rihgt is the power regulator. (AP8269 PWM CONTROLLER) I am guessing!
have google it., and found this.

Can i jump +5volt in to IC pin2 (VCMP, Input Voltage)? Will it work then?
Anyone has a idea?
