Find the simple.xml file and under this tab:

			<secondaryColor>000000</secondaryColor>
			<fontPath>./art/OPENSANS.TTF</fontPath>
			<fontSize>0.03</fontSize>
			<forceUppercase>1</forceUppercase>
			<scrollSound>./art/scroll.wav</scrollSound>
		</textlist>

Change font size to whatever you want. A little goes a long way so .05 is usually good enough. This assumes you haven't scraped any images.
