video script change for composite output

did a fresh install and, retropie wont recognize my screen (my other sd cards work perfetly).
retro only works with hdmi does anyone know where i need to go to change it to auto switch ?

you can uncheck the composite pal mode in the config (sdtv)

you can either ssh into it and change the config from there...
or i put the sd card into my pc and use notepad++ to open and edit the config file

uncheck, means to delete/remove the # from the line

go into the deep settings (dont remember the verbage) by pressing f4 and i believe raspi_config or something like that. Id find the exact phrase but im working.
Once you get there check your advanced settings, and resolution, make sure the resolution is set to default. this fixed that problem for me before

sudo raspi-config maybe here if i remember right
