Help for screen to run on 5V

I am new to this and I am trying to wire my screen board so that it can run on 5V. Right now it is running on 12V by default and the screen comes on and off. I will appreciate if anyone can point me to the right direction as to where to solder a jumper wire. I have attached a photo of my board, I couldn't find the same board on the screen wiki.

Have you tried running it as is? Sometimes there is no need to modify it to 5v, I have had luck with mine without modification.

I did try to run it on default as it is but it was "flickering". Anyway, I managed to figure out where to solder the jumper wire after tinkering with it for like 2 hours. I have attached an edited photo for anyone who might have the same board as mine. :D

@Shoots I have the same board and that is not where you should wire it. That IC is not the regulator. Your IC and the main square IC must be heating up quite a bit

These are the voltages for 12v and 5v. I have hooked 3.3v to point labelled 3.3v in 12v image. This runs the display well. Unfortunately you cannot use Rpi's 3.3v as the draw is greater than 50mA.

@Hex Thanks for the detailed images for the voltage. I apologise in advance as I am not an engineer, everything just confuse me more. Am I safe to say that this board does not have a regulator chip? I have checked out @erik_gee's post and the chip should be "chmc 1509". But I don't see any on this board. Been trying to google whatever I can about this board but to no avail. What else can I do to make it run for pi zero? Again, sorry for sounding like a noob. I have fixed up most of the stuff, its just the screen now.

Ok so this is how you can convert it to your liking. You see the 12v diagram, in there you should search for 5v or 3.3v.

We have a 3.34v on 3rd pin (output). We also have 3.3v on the rightmost pin of the 6pin connector at the top middle. If you turn the board you will see 3.3v there. You can solder 3.3v to 3rd pin of the A5269 Regulator IC (above 470) or rightmost pin of the 6 pins besides the 221

@hex Thanks a lot for your explanation. Now I understand what you're saying. Thanks! :D
