Hi guys, i am new to the forum and to the project, but i feel very determined to build a Gameboy Zero.
After taking some time to inform myself about the components and the build, i came across this piece in particular:
https://thepihut.com/products/adafruit- ... t-1a-1000c
Then i saw this on amazon:
https://www.amazon.it/SunFounder-Lithiu ... CRDW8B438Y
The circuit that comes with the 3800 mah battery is the equivalent (can be used instead) of the powerboost in the first link? I'm asking this question because i see that this component has the same output voltage, but 1.8 A Output current (which is greater).
Thanks for the help

you most porobably will be able to use it,
but do you really want to go down that route....
its about 4 times the size of the powerboost, more headache than its worth....

Ok, thanks for the fast answer! I've seen this that can be useful for my purpose:
https://www.banggood.com/37V-Liion-Batt ... 28948.html
By the way, is the battery (in the amazon link) fine for the project? I was considering a 90 x60 x5 mm battery, but i dont really know how much space i can fit into the case. Any advices?

I dont think so. You already have not that much room for putting in a pcb. But you can try

Hey, I'm using this battery from ebay, even from the same seller

It perfectly fits the battery case, you just need to remove all plastic and metal parts inside (which hold usual AA batteries).

I REALLY hope that's not how the seller ships them from China! With a tiny piece of masking tape over the positive wire!

No, usually it's with a tiny piece of tape over each wire. And then the wires taped to the cell.
