Wiring teensy to pi zero.

I wired my teensy to my pi zero by using this method, with the green and white going to PP22 and 23. Nothing seems to happen with my controls, I haven't tested it with a actual male micro USB to male micro USB but I'll try that soon.

I'm sure I did something wrong or missing something as I'm new to all of this.

If you could post a picture that would help a lot.
Did you twist the green and white wire to the Pi zero?

I connected a Teensy LC to a USB hub yesterday.
It didn't work at first as some connections where a bit loose and others where a bit bridged. Mainly on the USB hub which was a lot trickier to solder compared to the pads on the Teensy.
After making sure the connections were solid and didn't touch each other it's now working fine.

I don't have a picture at the moment, I'm out of town for a couple days. I did not twist it, I'll give that a shot when I get back and double check my connections. Thanks for the reply.

Looks like this might work, I'll give that a try. Didn't see that post before I made this one.

Also, did you test the Teensy LC when you hooked it up to a computer?
The button presses should be visible in a text editor for example.

I did not, probably a good idea to make sure everything is working on that front. I forgot to post the link on the last post, http://www.sudomod.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=1345
