thanks for bringing it to our attention.....

wasnt aware of this product before, but it looks good and for the price its worth a look at (in the UK around £16)

the only draw back i see, is that the liquid needs to be exposed so as the light can get to it so it can harden...

not sure how it will work in a build, alot of the 3d printed parts i've used the adhesion is done between two parts...

but i'm gonna buy the product....

because having kids, things get broken... so if i dont use it in a build, i'm sure i'll be able to use it elsewhere....

heres an aliexpress alternative....

I have some of these and they work ok but you need good UV light to cure the glue like say the sun or a good UV bulb and you can get cheap Chinese versions for a few bucks.

Noted - I think for the price it's definitely worth adding to the arsenal.

Received a duff (warped) Game Boy shell recently from eBay so will use this as my test bed for the welder.

Hopefully it will offer some good benefits. From what you guys are saying it may all come down to the quality of the UV light :)

i think they have a little LED on the lid with a CR2032 in there to provide the UV source

amazon reviews are mixed https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B018IBEHQU
Get a small cheep LCD in your project https://www.sudomod.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=22&t=2312
Wrap it all round a battery https://www.sudomod.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=2292
Or use a custom PCB to make it really small https://www.sudomod.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=2512
or make it really really really really tiny!! https://www.sudomod.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=2919

I used it on a glass screen protector for the GBZ and like I said you need a good UV light, that shitty LED they have isn't going to cut it unless you hold it there for a long time. I have 20 LED UV Flash light and used that and it was better than the shitty single one on the pen but ultimately the SUN is the way to go.

It held up good but because their shitty LED wasn't powerful enough some of the glue was uncured until I used better UV lights. So your mileage will vary based on how well it cures.

Isn't this like that LOCA glue that it is also cured with UV light?

Sounds nice and quite convenient, but I still think that using those extremely narrow double-sided tapes are way better. I mean, they are strong and much easier to remove in case you want to replace anything.
