The same way. A JST is only a convenient way to remove and reattach it fast.
You can always use jumper wires or bare wires instead.
It should not be that difficult to connect 2 wires without a JST Plug, right? :D

I just wondered if i should desolder the jst on the powerboost or solder to a different connection... Theres so many different solder points on the powerboost..... Or maybe i should solder jst wires to the powerbanks battery....

Why even using the powerboost and not just the board from the powerbank?
What's the advantage of the powerboost?

The only real advantage I can think of that you have the handy enable pin that you can wire up to the power switch. If you put the power switch in-line with the actual battery leads, you'd have to get one rated for handling that much current.

Powerboost also has status indicator LEDs and stuff too, which is nice.
