What MAME romset are you using?

Post by tyler335 » Thu Jul 27, 2017 12:59 pm

I'm having a little trouble with my MAME setup. Some games boot while others don't. I think some of my romsets are being ran on some incompatible emulators.

Note: I'm using Kite's v1 board with a pi zero. (There is no issue with Kite's board. It's awesome. Just stating my GBZ specs)

My Question:
Those who have MAME working on their GBZ systems, what version romsets and emulator are you using? I am wondering what romsets/emulator work the best/most popular.

i use the 037b5 rom set....

but with that being said, i personally found mame a bit of let down on the zero (runs really poorly)....

FBA is a better option (plays at a better rate).... but thats only Capcom and NeoGeo, and some of my favorites dont fall into that... :(
