Gauging Interest - Button PCB with fully integrated Teensy

Post by prerunnerseth » Fri Jun 03, 2016 2:51 am

I wanted to see if anyone was interested in a button PCB with the Teensy fully integrated. I'm trying to clear up GPIOs now to use Kites screen configuration. I have already designed the board. I would have to sell them for about $25 for it to make sense for me.

It would be very cool ! But I've already bought a Teensy for my project :(
Also, a GPIO audio filter (or usb sound card) + amp, with stereo 3.5mm jack, mono HP pins and Volume wheel pins would be really nice !

Definitely interesting, but it is a bit too expensive to just save space.
Using the PCB and an Arduino Leonardo instead, is about 7$.

But nonetheless, nice work and good luck with this!

I'm having a lick of trouble fitting everything inside the case and although i'm confident i can make it work, something like this would be a fantastic fall back. Is there any wiring to do at all at that point besides the L/R buttons? That would be such a lifesaver...the wires going to my teensy is taking up basically all the space on the bottom half of my board right now.

Only wiring that would go to the board would be the USB and LR.

This looks great! Anything to reduce the amount of modding. I have yet to even crack open my DMG, so if it makes the whole process simpler I'm in!
